EyesOpen Membership Terms
Effective upon enrollment. These terms apply to all EyesOpen and EyesOpen+ memberships.
These Membership Terms are incorporated by reference into ConsciousHR's Terms of Service, which also govern your use of all ConsciousHR services. In the event of a conflict, these Membership Terms control with respect to EyesOpen and EyesOpen+ subscriptions.
1. What EyesOpen Is
EyesOpen is a subscription-based HR advisory membership designed for small businesses, growing teams, and business owners who wear the HR hat. It provides access to general HR guidance, best practices, templates, live trainings, and a community of HR-minded professionals.
EyesOpen is built for proactive, ongoing HR support — not crisis response. If you come to us mid-fire, we'll do our best to help you find the right path, which may include a referral to a project-based engagement or outside legal counsel.
2. What EyesOpen Includes
EyesOpen base membership includes general HR advice and best practices, access to the ConsciousHR template and resource library, live trainings and recorded sessions, and community access.
Base membership does not include individualized advice specific to named employees, active workplace investigations, employee termination support, performance management execution, leave of absence management, or wage and hour classification determinations. These matters require a separate project-based engagement.
3. What EyesOpen+ Includes
EyesOpen+ includes everything in the base membership, plus up to four (4) hours per month of project-based HR Business Partner (HRBP) support for strategic initiatives.
HRBP hours are project-based and must be scheduled in advance. Unused hours do not roll over. Hours in excess of four (4) per month require a separate agreement and will be billed at ConsciousHR's current hourly rate. All HRBP support is advisory — final decisions on employment matters remain with your business.
4. Advisory Nature of Services
All EyesOpen and EyesOpen+ services are advisory in nature. ConsciousHR is not your legal counsel and does not provide legal representation. No attorney-client relationship is created through your membership.
Employment decisions — including hiring, discipline, termination, accommodation, and compensation — are made solely by you and your organization. ConsciousHR is not responsible for outcomes, legal actions, regulatory findings, or compliance issues resulting from your use of membership services or your reliance on guidance provided.
When a situation calls for legal review, we will tell you. We expect you to follow that advice.
5. Confidentiality & Use of Materials
Templates, training content, recorded sessions, and other materials provided through EyesOpen are the intellectual property of Conscious Consortium LLC and are licensed for your internal business use only. You may not share, resell, distribute, or provide access to these materials to individuals outside your organization, including other HR consultants, vendors, or service providers.
6. Billing & Payment
Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually — depending on the plan selected at enrollment. All sales are final. Partial months are not refunded.
By enrolling, you authorize ConsciousHR to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. It is your responsibility to keep payment information current. Failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in suspension or termination of access.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access through the end of the period for which you have paid. Cancellations do not generate refunds for the current period.
To cancel, contact us at hello@conscioushr.co.
8. Changes to Membership Terms or Pricing
ConsciousHR reserves the right to modify membership tiers, included services, or pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of your membership after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination by ConsciousHR
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a membership for misuse of materials, non-payment, or conduct inconsistent with our community standards. Termination does not relieve any outstanding payment obligations.
